Boot Camp

For some reason this skirt reminds me of a military uniform (but more stylish). It has a very military vibe to it. Nevertheless, I had a difficult time pairing this skirt with something at first, but I thought a jean top would look nice with it and adds a small pop of color.

I love neutrals because they are easier to pair with colors and patterns, and they are usually timeless pieces. I love this skirt because of the buckle detailing, as well as the fit of the skirt. It is high-waist and a slight A-line. It is similar to a mini skirt, but since it has a small flair to the sides it is not as form fitting. I prefer this style because it is looser and more breathable, since the color is light, this can be worn in hot weather with a cream tank. If it is a little cooler, this would be cute paired with a cropped sweater.
