Trendy Tuesday: Graphic Sweaters

Give me Space sweatshirt- Reformation
With the crisp fall air rolling in day by day, it gets monotonous to wear a plain knit sweater all the time. It gets hard to change up the fall look when all you own are fifty white sweaters because they are your favorite. A big trend for the fall is to throw on a quirky graphic sweater or sweatshirt!

Trendy Tuesday: Lace up

Blogger Haley Madison in Avalon Bodysuit

Whether it is a lace up bodysuit, top, shorts, or pants; lace up clothing is so in for summer/fall. The one place that has made it a hot commodity was the Reformation. They started with the Avalon Bodysuit, then moved to dresses, mini and midi, and even little crop tops. They really got the trend before it even was one! I love what the Reformation does with their clothes being sustainable and taken from big warehouses that would have otherwise thrown the fabric away. They take these fabrics and make clothes from them to eliminate waste. Totally cool and good for the environment, but not everyone can afford the prices for these gorgeous pieces. Luckily more stores have started to re-create these pieces at a more affordable price. Here are some of the many celebs and bloggers wearing the Reformation Avalon Bodysuit to give you inspo, and links to all these lace up cuties. P.s. Haley Madison is my total girl crush/blogger crush/everything crush, I love her free spirit and just everything about her so check her out!

Trendy Tuesday: Designer Jeans you can DIY

Anthropologie Jeans

Preserve Jeans

I am majorly loving jeans with embellishments, embroidery, and even paint! If I had the money I would totally just buy one of these beautiful pairs of jeans. Luckily, if you are a bargain lover like me, you can buy a pair of inexpensive jeans at H&M, forever 21, or even thrift stores. Find a pair that fits really well! You can do any of these looks on skinny, boyfriend, flared, whatever floats your boat. This next weekend I'm going to go out and buy a couple pairs so I can paint cherry blossoms like the Preserve jeans pictured above. Blake Lively wore the cherry blossom jeans and it was the perfectly put-together outfit for spring!
I also want to try embellishing jeans with jewels, and hope that I can get them to look just as good as the designer jeans. I think bejeweling your jeans give them a fancier look and you can just throw them on.
Finally, if you don't want to go out and buy a new pair because you are on a budget, look through your denim drawer and see if their are any pairs that may be a little too beat up, you can patch them up! You can purchase scraps of cloth at JO ANN craft store, rummage sales, and thrift stores and patch up those holes in your jeans and make them trendy all over again.

Hopefully this will give you some inspiration to do a DIY in the near future.

Trendy Tuesday: Earrings on the Red Carpet

Today I want to talk about a trend I have noticed on the red carpets; Geometric earrings, double-sided earrings, and crawlers.

Starting with the geometric earrings, I think these are great minimalistic pieces to have in your collection. The geometric shape gives an edgier look to an outfit.

Double-sided earrings on the other hand, with the right hair-do, can make a look very sophisticated. A slicked back bun with double sided earrings (as seen on Rosie), gives a very polished look.

Last, but not least, are crawler earrings. This is a single post that extends up and around the ear. It is very similar to an ear cuff, and comes in different styles. These are a good statement piece for a night out. I think this is one of the most popular trends on the red carpet out of the three trends.

Which one would you try out?

Iridescent Clothing & Accessories Trend

Futuristic and fun, the holographic/iridescent trend it taking the fashion world by storm. Shiny material that looks like it has a million different colors. It matches with everything! It can be casual and cool, or bold. The more casual items are nail polish, shoes, and bags. Clothing items that are holographic or iridescent are a little more risky and bold. Urban Outfitters has a lot of items that follow this trend. Nail polish is the easiest and cheapest way, it is there but not too bold.  Tennis shoes can be found in H&M stores everywhere, and oxfords can be found at Pacsun. Go try out this trend if you are feeling bold!

Comment below if you have or will give this trend a try.
